Nice hotel
Breakfasts are simple but have a great choice. Turn right uot the hotel and it's the old city.

Very friendly owner, but pricey and some downsides to the room.
The room - although not inadequate - was a bit disappointing: it was very cold (perhaps because we were located on the ground floor), on the small side and no additional services such as a table with a kettle, etc.
The location seemed good at first glance: located in the picturesque town of Nideggen, but in the end it turned out to be quite deserted and the few restaurants that were there, were fully booked quite quickly. After talking to some local people, it turned out that Nideggen is indeed no longer as lively as it was a few years earlier: one of the bakeries, for example, recently removed its tables and chairs. Shame.
For people without a car, Nideggen is certainly accessible, but keep in mind that the train station is located in a much lower valley, quite the hike. There are decent bus services available though.
All in all, a reasonably okay experience with some drawbacks, but the fact that we paid 135 euros per night for it, means that we unfortunately have no choice but to rate the total experience with 3 stars.

Wandelen in Nideggen
Schone kamer weliswaar ietwat aan de kleine kant met lekkere bedden.
Verder van alle gemakken voorzien.
Goede douche en handdoeken wissel.
Tegen betaling (15 euro P/P) ontbijt en ruim voldoende.
Vriendelijke eigenaar met mooie wandelroutes en restaurants op loopafstand van het hotel.
TIP: Beter verduisterende gordijnen

Kleines Zimmer (war gewusst) aber ausreichend für 1 Nacht. Kleines Duschbad mit allem was nötig.
Hervorragendes Frühstück! Frisch zubereitet, von allem genug.Kostet zwar extra, ist es aber wert.

Super in de Eifel
De bedden zijn uitstekend, wifi is goed en het ontbijt met vers fruit, broodjes etc zeer verzorgd en uitgebreid. Met mooi weer kun je heerlijk op het terras zitten. De ligging is zeer centraal en het centrum op loopafstand. Een geweldige prijs pret verhouding en aanbeveling!
